Laughing probably wasn’t the appropriate reaction

I suppose it didn’t make it any better that as I stifled the first reaction I whipped out the line, “no, it isn’t you, it’s me.” At this point my foot was fully inserted into my big mouth and there was no way to recover from my own stupidity. I didn’t mean to be a jerk, but I know it came across as such and for that I feel horrible. If I could have a re-do the answer would be the same however rather than hitting with the force of a Mack truck I would use my kid gloves. I know better and I failed miserably. The element of surprise got the better of me this round.

If time for explaining would have been granted the laughter was not at you, it was a laugh of “you’ve got to be kidding me, I can’t handle this.” Honestly, it truly is me. Don’t take it personally.

Some things in your life can never be replaced.

It's all about a little friendly competition . . .

The men that hold season tickets around me for Utah football informed me at the last game I attended that I was in charge of making the sign for the Utah - BYU game. I tried to tell them that I wasn't the creative one, but they would hear none of that. I already have weighty emotions about attending this particular game which probably isn't helpful.

Any ideas on what to put on a sign for the rivalry game?

“Laugh as much as you breathe and love as long as you live.”

I am home right now. I know, it is 8:30 in the morning and I should have been to work for at least a good solid 45 minutes already. However it is not by choice that I am still sitting in my living room ready for work although I might consider going to change since now I am a bit dirty.

I am stuck!

My garage door won’t open and I have very recently learned that I don’t have either the knowledge or strength to manually open it.

My only recourse . . . call a repairman and plead for help.

I should have just stayed in bed. What a morning!

Bye, bye Pelosi. You may hold onto your seat from San Francisco voters, but I will cheer as you have to vacate your chair as Speaker of the House.

God bless America!
